1.01 Divisions

The Summit County Common Pleas Court shall consist of four divisions:

(1) General Division
(2) Domestic Relations Division
(3) Juvenile Division
(4) Probate Division

The judges elected by law to each division shall handle the business of their respective divisions in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Ohio and the Rules of the Supreme Court. The judges of the Domestic Relations, Juvenile, and Probate Divisions shall adopt rules of practice and procedure for their respective divisions. The rules herein apply only to the General Division, except as otherwise specified.
